Flower Show

I hope you had a great weekend. Happy Spring.
On Thursday, the kids and I ventured into New Jersey to attend the Sussex County Flower and Garden Show.

We were greeted with this...

Speed Racer was excited and wanted to know if we could take it home. I told him only if it were turquiose.

This Orchid was one of the first flowers we saw when we walked into the show.

I really wish this was my garden!! Notice the yellow flowers.

How cool is this planter? I love it and then I saw this...

Oh my, I wanted to take it home. It's so snazzy.

I could picture hummingbirds coming to pay a visit to these flowers.

I think this year I will give roses another chance in my garden!!

Love the vibrant color.

I wish I knew what kind of tree this was.

I little inspiration for Tommy.

My favorite flower. Tulips!! I will have to share with you the story about my love for tulips.

I had to stop and take in this light fixture. The old hens behind me were apaulled at this light fixture. They couldn't understand why anyone would put junk on a light. I thought it was creative art. I was wondering how I could do it without Tommy noticing the junk. The whole eating area was done like this too, but Speed Racer had his fill of the flower show so I couldn't snap pictures.

More Tulips. I have to get my hands on some of these next fall.

I wish this was my patio.

This too, but it has given me some inspiration for an area in the backyard.

On the way home we stopped at the Tractor Supply Storeto look for a Bar-B-Que cover for Tommy's Grill/Smoker.

Speed Racer was so excited to see this little cart.

Don't you just love the yellow shades?

Inside the Tractor store they were selling these little chicks. I wanted to take a few home but thought that Tommy would kill me not to mention the fines I would have to pay to the development.

$1.99 per chick.

Ballerina wanted the rabbit.

We made a quick stop at a Thrift Shop. We had five minutes before they closed. We were on our way out when I spotted this goody.
Huge LL Bean Bag for 5 Bucks. I already have two but you can not have too many LL Bean bags. They are the greatest bag. There are no intials on the bag so I can leave plain or add my own.
