Strawberry Season and Garage Update

Strawberry Season has begun. The strawberries are even popping up in our garden!! We don't get enough strawberries yet to do anything but pop them in your mouth and enjoy. Today I got the kids dressed and he hopped into the car and headed to Andover, NJ for some strawberries. I have to say that these strawberries might be the best strawberries I ever had. I must of ate 10 of them on the way home. Good thing they are healthy and full of anti-oxidants

The best strawberries EVER!!!!

Can you believe that I use to hate strawberries? What was I thinking?

The Little Guy picking some strawberries.

My Little Toots making sure that her brother is not picking more then her.

I really would like to have a bunch of bird houses in my yard.

My Little Guy and I'm sure that Tommy would like several of these in our yard.

I love heading to NJ for fruits and veggies during the summer. I am a Jersey girl!!

Some of the strawberries in the field.

I liked the sign. I am thinking of blowing it up and hanging it near my garden. LOL!!

The kiddies in front of the rules!! There is a lot of them!!!

Believe it or not my little guy spotted this. I want one of these to hang from my roof!! I'm sure the neighbors would love it!!

The Strawberry Fields

We stopped at the new Home Goods on the way home in Newton. Sit down for this I did not get one thing at Home Goods. I saw lots of things, but I am not buying anything else for the house until the North Wing is done.

While the kids were napping today, I did the insulation. I am almost done. I have some harder beams to stuff tomorrow.

This is the wall I did today. I still have to staple the bottom part after I run the wires tomorrow night!!

This is the wall I did yesterday. Not bad for a beginner.

See the empty beam. I have about four of them to do tomorrow.

I am slowly coming along. If I was a general contractor doing this for a customer I would tell them it would be done in two weeks. I am going to times that by three. If I get done earlier great!!

Love and Hugs,

Janine

Home Goods..Goods

So the kids and I traveled to Home Goods in Newton because a little birdie told me that it was opened. It wasn't :0(. I had an errand to run in that area so it was all good. I then traveled to Mount Olive area, good thing I know where most of the Home Goods are in the area. My goal was to get some things to make my office area a little cheerier. I'm really into this blog world and have so many ideas to share. A lot of businesses have started through blogging, that is what I am hoping. If you get my emails great, but it's ok to be a follower on my blog. I will start to have give aways and prizes only to my followers. It's also great to have people comment on my blog. (Whether you like the idea, don't like the idea, or have a better idea). I am begging you to be a follower!! Please!!! I promise some good ideas and funny things that happen to me a long the way. Plus wouldn't it be good to say that I was one of Janine's first followers (While you are watching me on Martha Stewart). I can dream can't I?

So I found these great colorful folders to store articles and ideas that I see. This fun notepad to jot down all my ideas. Which I already did for next week. The clip board well because it was a fun color and had my initial on it and this little notebook with post-its and page flag-its.

My little office is here for now. I would like a nice bulletin board to put on the wall to display things that interest me and that I want to share with you!!

So, you got two for the price of one today. I am off to spray paint, which means a nice buzz for me and the doggies. You'll have to wait and see what I am doing later in the week, but the next person who follows me on my blog will receive one of the things I am making. So go ahead. Get on my blog and follow me. For the few that are already following me thank you and I will have an announcement on Sunday about followers.
