Orlando Part 4

Thursday was our day at Disney's Magic Kingdom. I haven't been there in over 20 years. This was the first time for Tommy and the kids.

We were all excited. Before we headed over to Disney we hit IHOP for breakfast!! We wanted a big breakfast to keep us fueled for the day.

We decided to drive the car there and not deal with any shuttles. Which was a great idea!!

Once we parked the car we hopped onto the Tram car that took us to the box office to buy our tickets. After we bought our tickets we had to choose if we wanted to go to Magic Kingdom on a steam boat or the monorail. We opted for the steamboat.

Our Steamboat pulling into dock!!

Another steamboat!!

The castle was so close but yet so far away!!

We passed this hotel on the way to Magic Kingdom!!

I love this sign!!

Getting closer to the castle!!!

Our first stop was  Adventure Land.

I was so thankful for this bubble lady because up until this point the kids were very cranky and whiny. (We all had colds)

Bubble Lady turned their frown upside down!!! Thank you bubble lady!!!

After we left bubble lady we came across Little Mermaid!!

Ballerina was so excited to meet Little Mermaid. Speed Racer on the other hand had no interest in meeting her.

We walked through the Robertson's Swiss Family house.

Then we hopped onto our first ride.

We rode on Aladdin's carpet!! So much fun! Ballerina had control of us being up in the air. She had us all over the place. Up, down, up, down.

We hopped onto the Jungle Cruise which was a lot of fun!! We saw a lot of cool fake animals.

Tommy enjoying the cruise!!

After the cruise we headed over to Pirates of the Carribbean which was always one of my favorite rides. I even got to meet Jack Sparrow!!!

Just kidding I made Tommy try on this cool hat!!!

After this we decided that we would lie to the kids. Tommy and I really wanted to go on Splash Mountain. The kids had already told us no water rides. We told them it was a log ride. It was a great ride. The kids liked it until they got wet.

Tommy after Splash Mountain.

After Splash Mountain we hopped onto the Steam Train back to Main Street for lunch.

After lunch we stopped at the Castle for a photo opp.

So great to be in Disney!!

Ballerina driving the race car.

Speed Racer driving Tommy around.

After the Speed Way we went to the Tea Cups. Tommy suddenly had to go to the bathroom. So I was stuck riding the tea cups alone with the kids. Once we got to the front of the line the kids suddenly did not want to go on. I did not stand in line for 30 minutes to not go on the ride. I picked them up and put them on the ride. They ended up enjoying the ride. Go figure!!!

It was 4:00 and the kids were getting cranky. We still had to get back to the car so we decided to get on one more ride.  We chose Dumbo!!

It was time to head back down to Main Street to get our souvenirs and a little treat!!

We said good bye to Magic Kingdom and a great family adventure!!!

Considering we all had cold and got a little sleep it was a great day!!

Come back tomorrow to find out about our favorite rides, what ride we were kindly asked to get out of, and what we bought at Disney!!

Orlando Trip Part 3

Wednesday was our day to leave Grandpa's and go up to Orlando.

After we said good bye to Grandpa we got in the car and headed to Orlando but not before I stopped back at that Farm Stand to get more oranges.

We got to the hotel but our room was not ready yet, so we explored the lobby. This picture is funny but will be even funnier once I tell you the story about the kids and Stitch tomorrow.

Ballerina showing you the tomb!!

The pool with a snake slide. I thought that the slide would be a fun for the kids but the one who had fun with it was Tommy.

Waiting for his turn down the slide.

Splashing in the water!!

I rented myself an inner tube to float around in but once I got into the water the kids started climbing all over me and started whining about wanting to ride the tube. So I made a little switch and got the kids a gator to ride on!!

Pushing the kids around and making sure they don't fall off the gator.

After a little dip in the pool we showered and headed to Downtown Disney.

We all loved this fountain!!

I don't know how Disney does it!!!

Look at this cool dragon!!!

This dragon is made from LEGOS. Can you believe that??

Our plan was to have dinner at the Rainforest but we saw this cool place to eat and thought we would give it a try.

However, Speed Racer did not want to go inside. We pulled him in to look around and he started freaking out. So we decided not to go here or to the Rainforest Cafe.

Our kids are all about dinosaurs so we thought it would be cool!!

It was way too loud and dark for the kids to like!!

We walked around and all the restaurants had an hour wait. We ended up at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe.

Ballerina showing off my chop sticks!!

Speed Racer was like a pro using the chop sticks to eat his bread.

After dinner we explored some of the stores.

One stop was the Harley Davidson store.

Ballerina hopped right onto this Hog and started riding!!!

Speed Racer was so thrilled to be sitting on the bike. He would have probably sat on there all day if there wasn't a long line.

This store was cool. You know how you can build your own Teddy Bear? Well at this store you can build your own race car!!! You know who loved this store!!

Tommy and Ballerina standing with Buzz Light Year. Speed Racer who loves Buzz would not go stand next to Buzz!!!

This store was all about Potato Heads!!! You fill up a whole box with potato head supplies. I don't know why I didn't buy this but I have been kicking myself ever since!!!

Woody up in the rafters!!

Mrs. Potato Head!!

After a long day of exploring we turned in because the next day was Disney!!!

Orlando Trip Part 2

On our second day we woke up and were treated to a glass of the BEST Orange Juice EVER!!!!

I am not kidding you when I say that this is liquid gold!!! It is so good!! I wanted to drink the whole gallon but knew that I would have reflux for the rest of the day!!!

I am not kidding you when I tell you that this orange juice could make me move down to Florida!!! I don't know that I will be able to drink another kind of orange juice again!!! Oh, wait I did and I thought that I would have to spit it out!!!

After we drank about two glasses of orange juice, we ate breakfast and then leisurely sat outside on the porch!!

Relaxing as much as you can with a set of 4 year old twins!!

Dressed for the day. The weather was foggy but the fog burned off really fast and then it was nice and warm.

Getting his shoes on for a morning walk.

I just can't get over the palm trees!!!

Playing some ball on the driveway!!

The Ugly Ducklingly, at least that's what Grandpa said!!

Enjoying a glass of iced cold water after her morning exercise.

The kids were shooting on Tommy!! Soccer class is paying off!!

While the kids played in the drive way, I decided to go to Wal-Mart to get Flip Flops for Speed Racer, sunglasses for me, and some wine for dinner.

As I was driving I notice a farm stand!! If you have been following me for a while then you know that I can't pass up local produce.

I pulled in and looked for some oranges that Grandpa told me about they are called Honey Bell. I picked up some honey bell oranges, red grapefruit, and strawberries.

I took the produce to Grandpa's and cut it up and we enjoyed the fruit for a nice morning snack.

The produce was delicious. Ballerina ate most of the strawberries herself.

After we had a nice leisure morning and I was challenged to a race with a man on a lawn mower we took Grandpa out to lunch.

We went to a new restaurant called Mulligan's. It was on the water!!!

Tuesday is Pina Colada day so how could I not order one?

Ballerina wanted me to take a picture of her drink.

The view from our seat!! It was nice to watch the boats go by and the birds dive for some food.

I was taking a picture of the island.

The two Toms!!!

After lunch we headed back to Grandpa's house and got changed to go to the pool!!

Heading to the pool!!

They were so excited to go swimming!!

Luckily, the water was warmer then the air. However, the temperature was low 80's.

Good thing I packed their arm floats!!

Tommy enjoying the water too.

The pool and club house.
Tommy and I decided that this is the place for us to retire!!

The kiddies loving each other!!

The neighbor's boat.

Speed Racer was sitting with me on a rocking glider and fell asleep.

This is like the third time Speed Racer ever fell asleep on me.

After a little nap the kids were ready for an evening of racing around the yard.

While Tommy and Grandpa worked on dinner which was spaghetti and meatballs. The kids played in the backyard. I watched the kids play and I also watched the sunset!!

Another great day in Florida!!!
