My Hot Date and a New Dishwasher

Over the weekend, I had a chance to go on a hot date. It was so much fun. We laughed, sang songs, took a nice car ride, and walked around a store holding hands. We really enjoyed our alone time. We often don't get alone time together. It was so nice to be with him.

My hot date. (Did you think I was talking about someone else?)

Speed Racer's favorite store. It's becoming mine too!! When we pulled into the parking lot Speed Racer was yelling with pure excitement!!

Speed Racer checking out the tractors and quads in his size. Notice he also has a tractor in his hand.

Walking around a store with Speed Racer reminds me of being with my Dad. However, the whole time we were at Tractor Supply store Speed Racer was talking about Uncle Dune Buggy (Tommy's brother). I think Speed Racer and Uncle Dune Buggy should go on a date there!!!

Taking it for a test drive!!

Testing out the John Deere. This really reminds me of Uncle Dune Buggy. (Tommy's Brother)

I bought Speed Racer a little gift. That's right baby The General Lee!! I loved "The Dukes of Hazzards." I told Speed Racer all about this awesome show. He asked if we could watch it? I told him I would look for it on TV.

We stopped off on 611 to look at the river per Speed Racer's request. I thought we would act like some tourists.

I asked Speed Racer what he wanted to do next he said go home and play with you Mommy. We went home made some brownies, drank some strawberry milk, looked for the Dukes of Hazzards on TV, watched a squirrel eat our Halloween Pumpkin, and played Dino Dan.

It was a GREAT morning. I love having alone time with each of my kids. Tommy and Ballerina went out on a date too.  They are the book snart people in the family so they went to the Library, Borders, and Pet Smart. (Sorry no pictures from their date.)

On Friday morning I was surprised with a new dishwasher.

The cutest dishwasher EVER!!!

She went to get her stool and started washing the dishes.

She washes the dishes and then takes the rag and wipes up the counter.

She really enjoys helping out. I figure I should just roll with it..there will be a time when she doesn't want to help me!!

Did you get any surprises this weekend?
