My Mom became a mom on December 23, 1972. That is the day I was born. It was clearly the best day of my Mom's life. (Ok, maybe it was one of the best days of her life)
When I think about the kind of Mom I want to be it's just like my Mom. My Mom would sacrifice anything for us kids and that includes her other three children (Tom, Pam, and Lauren).

Words can not express the countless things she has done for me and my brothers. My Mom made sure that we knew how much we were loved. She wanted to make sure that we had the best advantages that life has to offer. She was always there for us in school and our after school activities no matter what. If we wanted or needed something she made sure that we had it. Some might say we were spoiled but until your a parent (mother) you know you want to make your kids happy!! Happy kids=Happy Mom
My mom had a very rough childhood, one that she could have let effect her adult life instead she squashed it and focused on how not to be that type of parent.
My Grandpa was a first generation immigrant from Germany. He was very old fashioned and set those traditions to motion in his house. This lead to the life were my mom did not have the same privileges as her brothers. When my mom wanted to go to college she was told her place was in the house. My Mom made sure that I knew I could go to college if I wanted to go. She let me know that I was equal to my brothers.
Since the day I was born my Mom has been my number one fan. She also let's me know daily what a wonderful, creative, loving, and successful person I am. It's nice to have someone like that in your corner.

My Mom is the most compassionate, whole hearted loving person I have met. She would sacrifice anything for her six children and ever growing grandchildren (Don't start thinking I'm pregnant because I'm not).
My Mom's whole life and existence revolves around her family. Some people might not think that is a good thing, but I am smack in the middle of it and I think it's a wonderful thing. It's nice to have that kind of love in my life. I hope it's something that I can give my children.
Mom I want to take this moment to thank you for everything you have done for me as a child, young woman, adult, and as a mother. You are my inspiration!! You are the type of mother and person I want to be. You are someone who people can count, trust and confide on. You are the best Mother in the world not for just these reasons but for so many more!!
We hope that you have an awesome Mother's Day you certainly do deserve it!!!
Love and Hugs,
Janine
